Fujifilm X-A3, X-A5, and X-A20 Cameras Get New Firmware - Update Now

Fujifilm has rolled out new firmware packages targeted at its X-A3, X-A5, and X-A20 digital cameras, namely version 2.21, 1.10, and 1.11, respectively, which resolves the INTERVAL TIMER SHOOTING hangs and changes the initial setting of ISO AUTO (from 200).

Besides the changes mentioned above, the X-A5 unit also receives a new PDAF algorithm (first implemented on the X-T100) that improves autofocus speed and accuracy, as well as extended movie recording time (up to 30 minutes in any movie quality).

In addition to that, Fujifilm enhances the X-A5’s visibility on the LCD is during CL shooting and the HDMI output usability (removes time limitations), and also changes the graphics interface when the main LCD monitor is inverted by 180 degrees.

Regarding installation, first, save the downloadable file onto a formatted memory card, make sure your camera has a fully charged battery, insert the card into the imaging unit, and turn the camera on pressing “DISP/BACK” button.... (read more)
