Software updates in the Android ecosystem are quite a nightmare, as many OEMs release new devices only to then either never ship improvements or publish them at a painfully-slow pace.In its struggle to fight with the big guys, Huawei is making a major step towards resolving this problem. The company has promised major software updates for a wide array of devices every two months, in addition to the monthly security patches for Android.
The first step would be made next month when Huawei would bring a face unlock option to a wider array of phones, including the Huawei P10, P20, P20 Pro and more affordable models like Mate9, Mate10 and Mate10 Pro, as well as the nova3e, nova 2lite and nova 2i.
