iOS 11.4 Has a Major Battery Issue and All iPhones Are Affected

iOS 11.4 was without a doubt a welcome update a couple of weeks ago when it received the green light, but despite bringing new features, it looks like it also causes battery issues on a number of iPhone models.

While Apple has remained completely tight-lipped on this glitch, because this is pretty much the thing that the company does nearly every time a problem in its products is discovered, hundreds of customers are complaining of major battery drain after updating devices.

A post reporting iPhone battery problems after updating on Apple’s own forums has nearly 850 “I have this question too” votes, which means that there’s a chance this could be a widespread issue hitting a significant number of devices.

No magic workaround

No pattern has been discovered so far and a workaround does not exist. Users are complaining that their iPhones now last half the time they did before the update.
