Microsoft has recently announced the June 2018 insider update for Microsoft Office on Android, delivering a set of improvements and new features that are supposed to become available for all users in just a few weeks.With this new release, Microsoft Office for Android reaches version 16.0.10325.20010, and is currently a preview of the July 2018 update.
Microsoft Word is getting two new features this month. First, you can see the word count as you scroll, so when working with larger documents, you’re always capable of keeping an eye on how many words and characters are in your file no matter what.
Additionally, Microsoft Word receives zooming improvements, and Microsoft says that zoom now snaps to fit documents to your screen without wasting any space. This is definitely a welcome tweak given the limited screen estate on a smartphone and the wide array of display sizes in the Android ecosystem.
