Microsoft Edge to Get New Settings UI Ahead of Windows 10 Redstone 5 Launch

Microsoft is working on revamping the Settings UI in Microsoft Edge browser, and according to a new report, the first step in this regard would be made with the next build release coming to Windows insiders sometime this week.

At this point, all configuration options in Microsoft Edge are integrated right within the browser and can be accessed through the column-based UI, which although quite straightforward, makes finding specific settings a bit harder if you don’t know where to look.

In Windows 10 Redstone 5, this is all expected to change. WL writes that Microsoft is currently exploring a new Settings page design for Microsoft Edge that would finally group all options in categories, which clearly makes more sense given how fast the browser evolves.
