JEDDAH: The Saudi Fund for Development has transferred $80 million to the Palestinian Authority as part of the Kingdom’s support for its budget.
Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the Arab League Osama Nugali said in a press statement issued on Thursday that the Saudi Fund for Development has transferred $80 million to the Palestinian ministry of finance.
The amount is Saudi Arabia’s contribution to supporting the Palestinian Authority’s budget for the months of April, May, June and July 2018, at a rate of $20 million per month.
